AT THE FESTIVAL
Where can I park?
- Limited Parking will be available at the Coonamble Showground, and at surrounding streets
What should I bring with me?
- Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- Gumboots and ponchos in case of rain
- A chair or picnic blanket
- Your party boots to keep you dancing all night long!
Can I bring my Own Chair / Blanket to sit on?
- Chairs and blankets are encouraged! There is no specifications to what sort of chair you need to bring but we do ask you to be considerate of other people behind and around you. The Festival staff have the right to ask you to kindly move if your chair or sitting area is unsuitable or needs to be moved. If your chair is left overnight at the Festival it will be removed and can be found at Lost and Found, which will be located at the front gate.
Is the Festival Licensed?
- Yes the festival is fully licensed. Any alcohol bought on premise will be confiscated and will not be returned to you. Purchase of alcohol can be done through any of the bars we have on site and must be consumed within the festival area. If you wish to consume alcohol you must bring a Valid 18+ proof of Age Photo ID which you will need to present at any time if you are asked from Bar Staff, Security or Event Personnel. If you are found supplying alcohol to a minor, you will be evicted from the festival and may be referred to police.
Are pets allowed at the festival?
- No pets are not allowed in the Festival except for guide dogs.
Will there be artist signing times? Will there merch be available?
- More information around artist signing times and merchandise availabilities will be released closer to the event
Will there be PBR Merchandise available?
- There will be plenty of Official PBR Australia Merchandise available. Sizes in our PBRA Merch start from as tiny as a size 4 for our little ones and go through to a 5XL.
Can I bring Food and Drink with me inside the Festival Grounds?
- Our festival site is a Fully Catered and Licensed venue. There is STRICTLY NO BYO FOOD OR BEVERAGE (including water) to be bought into the Festival Site. We will have plenty of safe drinking water stations available for you to bring your empty water bottles up with! Any food or beverage bought into the Festival will be confiscated and not returned. Food is allowed into the camp site but not to the festival.
What sort of food and drinks will be available?
- There will be a great range of food trucks supplying your dinner needs as well as cravings such as ice-cream and snow comes!
- Our massive bar will have a great selection on beer, wine and spirits available for purchase.
What if my family has Specific Foods / Dietary Needs. Can I bring them a lunch Box / Dinner?
- Yes, this is an exception. Security may ask to see what is inside your containers. Food Vendors that are on site will be catering for all dietary needs however we do understand that some individuals cannot consume certain products.
Can we Bring a Pram / Cart for our Kids?
- Yes you can bring your Prams and Trolleys for your kids. Please be aware that security may ask to inspect your items being bought into the festival. We do recommend supplying sufficient ear protection for small children attending the festival. It will get loud!
Will my bags be searched?
- Upon entry into the Festival Site it is a condition of entry that you and your possessions be searched before entering the Camping and Festival Site. Any prohibited items will be confiscated and not returned.
Is there only General Admission Seating?
- Yes there is only General Admission no designated seating. We recommend bringing a camp chair or picnic blanket to set up for the evening
Can I smoke / vape in all areas of the Festival Site?
- NO – we kindly ask that you make your way to the designated areas within the licensed area to where smoking of any kind is permitted. There will be plenty of signage available as well as directions from staff and security to where you can smoke. These rules apply to vaping as well.
Can I come and go from the Festival?
- Yes Pass Outs are allowed. Please have your BAD Festival Wristband clearly displayed to show security upon entry and exit.
TICKETING
If I can no longer attend the event, can I receive a refund?
- Unfortunately, refunds are not available for this event, but if for some reason you are unable to attend you are welcome to sell your tickets and we can transfer tickets to a different name. (Please contact us via (02) 9285 8040.
Can I Re-Sell or change the name on my Ticket?
- If you are unable to attend the event you are welcome to resell the tickets however you’d like and are welcome to ring us on (02) 9285 8040 to change the name on your ticket. Please have your order number, name of purchase, and email address ready for verification.
Can I purchase tickets at the gate?
- Of course! Tickets will be sold at the gate for the duration of the event, although we suggest getting online and purchasing your tickets prior to coming to avoid disappointment if the event sells out.
Do Under 18’s Need a Ticket?
- Yes, we have Under 18 tickets available. We ask that all children be accompanied by a responsible adult at the Festival Grounds. Child tickets are available for kids ages 5-17 years of age, Children under 5 years of age are free of charge.

ACCESSIBILITY
Is this event accessible friendly?
- Yes, absolutely! The event will be held at Coonamble Showgrounds. There will be plenty of space for individual with wheelchair or accessible needs. There will be an accessible toilet on site for use as well.
Do you accept Companion Cards?
- Yes we do. Please call us on(02) 9285 8040 to book tickets with a Companion Card.
Is there designated accessible parking available?
- Yes, please alert staff prior to the event about your accessible parking needs by emailing pbra@pbr.com ahead of time. We ask that your disability sticker is showing at all times.
GENERAL
When is the schedule going to be released?
- Follow the PBR Australia Facebook and IG pages for all the latest updates!
Can I bring a Camera or Professional Recording Device?
- DSLR and any Professional cameras are not permitted within the festival. Only photos on phones are permitted at the event.
What if I want to take photos on behalf of a media outlet?
- For those working on behalf of a news station / media outlet, please contact pbra@pbr.com to request a Media Credential Request Form. Once the form is filled out and sent back, we will review and reach out to let you know whether your request has been approved.
Who do I contact about setting up a Stall at the PBR BAD Festival in Coonamble?
- If you’re a food vendor, you can email us directly at pbra@pbr.com. We are also welcoming info centre, local tourism, or activity-based stalls at our event. Unfortunately, we will not be accepting applications for merchandise or clothing stalls.
What Happens if it rains?
- Make sure to bring ponchos as backup! Even if there’s rain, the show will go on pending the safety of our athletes.
Can I be a Volunteer or Work at the Festival?
