Another weekend of ebbs and flows for our Australian's over in the US, with Brady Fielder shut out in New Mexico and Qynn Andersen finding the whistle on the Velocity tour down in Dayton,OH.

Get up to speed with all the action in this week's Aussies Abroad.

Unleash The Beast Tour: Albuquerque, NM

With Callum Miller unfortunately falling below the cut line for the last PBR UTB Major of the season at Albuquerque, Brady Fielder was the lone wolf flying the flag for the lads from downunder at the Ty Murray Invitational across the weekend's action at The Pit.

Round 1 saw Fielder matched up with Ghost Face (Bierema Rodeo Inc. / Cooper/Scruggs Bucking Bulls), a bovine which was uncovered in it's previous four UTB trips, a streak which continued on Friday Night.

The Clermont cowboy was bucked off at the 2.15 second marker, after the animal athlete came out of the chutes half turning to the left and then back to the right towards the centre of the arena with good ferocity in its action with plenty of up and down kick and rare, proving too much for Fielder to handle.

Night two saw the #11 ranked bull rider in the world draw Hundred Bad Days from the TNT Bucking Bulls / Hart Cattle Co pen, who had only been taken all the way by righty's twice from 13 trips to date in the big leagues.

Coming out to the left away from Fielder's hand, Hundred Bad Day's did not have a bad day on this occasion, getting the cowboy to the outside of the spin and ejecting him in 3.65 seconds for a 41-point bull score marker.

Come championship Sunday it was another zero for the Texas Rattler, with Bruised Ego (Crescent City Bucking Bulls / Lari Crane / Gene Owen) getting the matchup win in 4.67 showing on the clock, with another bull that went away from Fielder's hand early on the 2nd jump, but the Queenslander was able to fight and hang on until the inevitable four and a half second premature ending to the ride.

Brady now sits 11th in the PBR UTB World Standings, with a 35.7% riding percentage (15-from-42) and 327.16 World Standings points heading into this weekend's action at Nampa, ID.

Velocity Tour: Dayton, OH

From the mid-west to the east of Ohio, it was Koumala, QLD's Qynn Andersen who continues to impress on the Velocity tour and push for a spot at the World Finals in May, picking up a 5/6 placing and another 42.5 Velocity/US pts to his name.

Round one saw Andersen share the chute with Life Flight (Twisted Horns Cattle Co./ Hearn), with the bovine getting the better of the Queenslander into his hand in a 3.43 second called touch to leave the cowboy with a zero next to his name after the opening round.

The second stanza will be a much better memory for Qynn, with Buffalo Heifer from the Sterk Bucking Bulls roster providing a fantastic trip with a fantastic action turning back to the left away from hand of the Aussie import to grab an impressive 88-point score for finding the whistle, in what is a equal career high for the cowboy.

Rd 2 Dayton OH VT- Qynn Andersen rides Buffalo Heifer for 88 points

After booking himself a trip to the Short-Go, Andersen selected Lil Buck (LH Cattle Co/ Lazy Brook Bucking Bulls), who brought down Andersen in 4.97 seconds for a 42 bull score and slating the Whitsunday's native a 5/6 place finish.

Qynn is now slated for this weekend's Tuacahn Amphitheatre VT event @ Ivins, UT this weekend.
